Will this phone pocket fit my iPhone with a bulky case on it?+
Yeah, it fits most smartphones including larger models with cases. The zippered compartment has enough room for modern phones even if you're rocking a protective case.
Can I use this pocket on older USWE packs with the NDM 1.0 harness?+
Nope, this one only works with the NDM 2 harness system. If you've got an older pack with NDM 1.0 or 1.2, you'll need the Phone Pocket NDM 1 instead.
Is the pocket waterproof or will my phone get soaked in the rain?+
It's made from durable nylon that'll handle some moisture, but it's not fully waterproof. If you're riding in heavy rain, throw your phone in a waterproof bag first.

My HAJKER PRO 18L Rolltop Daypack pack is possibly the best fast, racing, hiking, mtbiking pack I've ever used. I love it!
This accessory pouch however does not work for my phone. The pocket is describes as being approximately 17.5cm / 6.9" in height and 9.5cm / 3.8" in width. My phone is approximately 6.9" x 3.8" and it does not fit, not ever close.
Conclusion: I love the backpack but the phone pouch needs more work.
Nice accessory for the pack but my original intention in buying it was to be able to place my iphone 15 pro max in it for easy access while riding. Unfortunately, the phone doesn�t come anywhere close to fitting inside, even with a relatively thin case. You could probably fit a protein bar or two inside or perhaps the smallest iPhone. Lastly, I think the exterior mesh pocket is a bit extraneous. If a case was made that fit the iPhone 15 pro max with a case I would definitely buy it!
Attaches to a bag on a completely wrong height. Impossible to access while wearing the bag. During the hike scratching your face. I ordered two, expected the promoted quality and now even can�t return those.

I have a galaxy S10+ in a UBPro case which is pretty slim.
Its a fight to get the zipper around the phone/case.
I cant really zip it closed while wearing the pack.
This case works great with a USWE pack by snapping in securely on the shoulder strap. It can easily hold a phone with a hefty case. Also extra room for a few smaller items I.e. keys, bandaids, gum.
This pocket works great and finally gave me a convenient and safe place to store my cell phone on rides. It is quick and easy to access and I can't even tell it's there no matter how gnarly the tech gets.
Problem seems fine. Unfortunately, it won�t fit on the packs I have for my wife and I. Your web site is not very well done in describing the versions of your NDM straps. I don�t know which packs are ver. 1, 1,2 ,2 or whatever. To buy this then see it works only with ver. 2 was frustrating. Otherwise your NDM system is a joy to ride with.
