OFFROAD BIB SHORTS THAT ARE ANYTHING BUT MAINSTREAM

The Skarp bib shorts are specifically designed for high-speed XC mountainbike and gravel riding. Its design for a faster positioning on the bike that keeps the experienced rider comfortable all the way to the finish line. When this product was tested by our testing crew they were totally blown away saying things like ”This is by far the best bib shorts I have ever ridden”. Combine the Skarp bib shorts with he Skarp Jersey for a 100% race look and feel.

OUR CHOICE OF FABRICS

We tested a ton of different fabrics and finally found this high-end Italian blend of recycled polyester and elastane. We came to the conclusion that this mix of material is best choice for high speed races on gravel when it comes to comfort, low weight, aerodynamics and breathability. The suspenders are constructed with a minor mesh panel on the back and super soft comfortable elastics on the front for maximum comfort and breathability.

THE KEY FEATURES

The Skarp Bib shorts has a longer leg length with suspenders constructed with a mesh panel on the back and bands in elastics. The legs ending comes with a 75 mm silicone grippers printed with the statement "X Anything But Mainstream". Why? Because we believe this product really is.

The mesh rear pocket substitutes the use of a regular cycling jersey when riding causal t-shirt style. Perfect for an extra wind vest, jacket or a pair of gloves. Use the integrated right leg pocket when off bike for your phone or to stash that extra gel for the longest ride.

THE CHAMOIS AND THE CONSTRUCTION

We choose to equip all our bibs with premium chamois from Elastic Interface®, simply because we believe they are the best around. The chamois chosen for the Skarp Bib shorts are the 200 Density premium lite pad, especially made for gravel. The design is made for a faster positioning on the saddle and is suitable for the experienced rider. The fabric features of polyamide and polyester yarns guarantee cooling and quick drying, preventing chafing. Its construction is design for the male anatomy with a central channel that improves blood flow and reduces pressure and numbness.

Care / Clean:

Packs

We want you to follow the instructions on the care label for each product. Care labels are typically found inside of the product. If you can’t see it, look again. If you still can’t see it, contact us.

STEPS

After every ride, empty the pack completely and brush clean soiled areas with soapy water.
Never put your pack into a washing machine or dryer, this damages the PU coating. Only hand wash.
The pack fabrics can’t be ironed.
Zippers must be kept clean for improved lifetime.
To store: close the pack and keep it in a dry, well ventilated place.

Hydration Systems

ELITE

Reverse by placing your hand in the bladder, grab the bottom, and pull it back through the top opening, just like turning a sock inside-out. The molded opening can also be flipped after the bladder body has been reversed. Then, throw it in the dishwasher or rinse with mild soap and water. Make sure to let the bladder dry out completely while reversed.

SHAPE-SHIFT

The Shape-Shift features a removable baffle which locks for a slim profile and increased stabilization. When unlocked it reverses for easy cleaning - place it on the top-shelf of your dishwasher or rinse with mild soap and water. Make sure to let the bladder dry out completely while reversed.

FIXED (ALSO KNOWN AS SHAPE-LOC CONNECTION)

Many of our packs use a fixed baffle bladder called the Fixed ( Also known as Shape-Loc). It can only be reversed up until the baffle is exposed but is still simple to clean. We recommend either using a bottle brush or Bottle Bright.

Method One - Fill your bladder with warm water and use a bottle brush along with mild soap to scrub it clean. Rinse well and hang it upside down to dry.

Method Two - Fill your bladder with warm water and drop in one or two Bottle Bright tablets, slide the top close and let sit for fifteen to thirty minutes (depending on the amount of residue). Rinse and hang upside down to dry.
