How To Set Up The Harness?

All of our NDM 1 products are unisex and are designed and tested for both men and women. To set up the harness follow the steps below.

1. Put the backpack on. Adjust the horizontal chest straps to a comfortable length (The two "d-rings" allow you to change between a larger and smaller size). Use the outer ring for the large size and loop through both for the smaller size.
2. Adjust the vertical shoulder straps (If needed) to adjust the height of the buckle, the center buckle should align around the height of your solar plexus. Do note that a few models like Race 2.0 and Outlander PRO does not have this setting due to their low weight.

Hydration Systems

ELITE

Reverse by placing your hand in the bladder, grab the bottom, and pull it back through the top opening, just like turning a sock inside-out. The molded opening can also be flipped after the bladder body has been reversed. Then, throw it in the dishwasher or rinse with mild soap and water. Make sure to let the bladder dry out completely while reversed.

At just 430g without the bladder, this lightweight hydration pack disappears on your back until you need to grab a gel or stuff a jacket into the main compartment. The included 1.5L Elite hydration bladder with fixed coupling keeps water flowing without leaks, and the hose routes cleanly over either shoulder so you can sip without taking your eyes off the trail.

Fit & Kit

Dial in the fit by adjusting the elastic chest and shoulder straps until the pack sits high on your back without riding up into your helmet. The stretchy harness should feel snug but not restrictive, giving your lungs room to expand while keeping the pack stable through technical sections. After each ride, rinse the Elite hydration bladder with warm water and hang it to dry with the opening propped open to prevent mold. The pack is compatible with USWE's NDM 1 accessories like the Action Camera Harness, Organizer Pocket, and Chest Pocket for riders who want to customize their setup for bikepacking races or all-day mountain adventures.
